Narrow induction stove from Point with timers for both the oven and the hob
Point POCO350IFW5 is an easy-to-use induction stove that gives you control over cooking times on both its oven and hob. The hob has a total of four cooking zones whereas the oven offers a 65-liter capacity and a 25-watt halogen light. A standard baking tray, a deeper oven pan, and an oven grille are included. Thanks to a 50-cm-wide design the stove also fits conveniently in a narrower space than a 60-cm-wide model.
Beautifully browned dishes
The induction stove’s oven has 9+1 functions to choose from. Bake wonderful cakes and bread or cook perfectly cooked meat and fish, for example. The grill function is good for cooking small portions of meat. To speed up the grilling process you can select the combination fan and grill function, whereas the super grill function is especially good for browning food. The full list of oven functions is as follows:
Control panel with a display, knobs, and touch controls
Both the induction stove’s oven and hob have timers and easy-to-use touch controls. The oven’s touch controls are located below the display on the front of the stove. The display lets you follow the oven’s timer settings, for example. On both sides of the display the control panel also has traditional knobs for selecting the oven temperature and function.
Intense and low heating options
Each of the hob’s cooking zones has a booster function for when you momentarily need an extra bit of heating power to boil water, for example. You can also keep already cooked food warm and ready for serving with the hob’s keep warm setting. This setting keeps a cooking zone at a low heat. You can also use the function to melt butter or chocolate, for example.
Peace of mind when using the hob
Do you have a lot on your mind? Not to worry, as the induction hob’s cooking zones will switch off automatically even if you forget to switch them off yourself. The time it takes for them to switch off depends on the chosen power level. A temperature sensor also constantly monitors the temperature of electronic circuits so that if the temperature raises beyond a safe level, the cooking zone heat will be reduced or switched off entirely. The hob also has a child lock setting you can activate, thus adding security to households with small children.
Residual heat indicators for safety and practicality
The induction hob has residual heat indicators that tell you if a cooking zone’s still hot. The indicators will display ‘H’ when the temperature is above 60 °C and a lowercase ‘h’ when the temperature is between 45 and 60 °C. This way you can see with a quick glance which zones are hot and how hot they still are so as to not burn your hands accidentally. Since residual heat can also be used to keep food warm, an added benefit of the indicators is that you’ll be reminded which zones are still warm. This way you won’t necessarily have to switch on new zones if you want to warm up food for a short while.
Remove dirt more easily with the help of steam
Steam cleaning is a quick and easy way to keep your oven clean. To start the process, pour about 250 ml of water onto an oven tray, then place the tray on the bottom of the oven. Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 50 °C with the lower heating element activated, allowing the oven to heat for approximately 30 minutes. The steam then softens stubborn dirt and grease, which makes the dirt easier to wipe away. The oven door is also detachable, so you have easy access to the oven interior when cleaning it.
