The Point POBO760I4BFAS induction hob takes troublesome effort out of cooking. A bridge function, timers, booster power levels, and automatic cooking settings – all are at your fingertips thanks to the easy-to-use controls. The 60-cm-wide hob also has a scratch-resistant matt glass surface. Flush mounting is also possible when installing the hob in your kitchen.

Induction technology for efficient and safe heating

The hob based on advanced induction technology is a safe way to prepare food. The induction hob produces heat directly to the bottom of cookware instead of indirectly heating up the glass surface. This way the energy used for heating is used as efficiently as possible.

Flex cooking zones that adapt to large cookware

The induction hob has room for four pieces of cookware in total. If you however want to utilize larger cookware, such as a grill plate, this is possible thanks to the convenient bridge function. On both sides of the hob there are Flex cooking zones where two smaller zones can be combined into one large zone.

Cooking zones with a double booster function

Each of the hob’s cooking zones has nine power levels from which you can choose the appropriate one according to the food you’re preparing. In addition to these power levels, each cooking zone also has an especially powerful double booster function to choose from. When the function’s maximum time of five minutes has elapsed, the cooking zone switches to power level nine.

Ready automatic settings for different cooking needs

To make cooking even more effortless, the induction hob has five automatic cooking settings that you can activate depending on your need:

  • 50 °C for melting and defrosting
  • 70 °C for warming
  • 90 °C for simmering
  • 210 ± 15 °C for frying with oil
  • Auto boiling (water heated till boiling temperature and maintained for 15 minutes before function switches off)

Timers plus slide controls for selecting power levels

Each of the induction hob’s cooking zones have their own controls which include slide controls for choosing the power level. The controls work with a light touch, so you don’t need to apply pressure on the controls. Use is smooth, fluent, and comfortable. The cooking zones also have a 99-minute timer that you can use to time when a zone switches off. Alternatively, you can use the timer as an alarm, in which case the cooking zone won’t switch off when the timer runs out.

Pause function for unexpected interruptions

Are you expecting an important phone call? Does someone in the other room need help? Unexpected interruptions may occur when you’re cooking. With that in mind, Point's induction hob has a convenient pause function with which you can safely pause cooking. When you return, you can simply pick up where you left off without worries. A convenient memory function also keeps your settings saved for ten seconds in case you accidentally switch off the hob while cooking.

Child lock and automatic safety switch-off

For families with children, the safety of the home is emphasized, and this includes the kitchen. For this reason, the induction hob has the choice of a convenient child lock function. This way the family’s smallest can’t accidentally play with the hob settings. If you also have a lot of on your mind, you don’t need to worry if you forget to switch off the hob. That’s because the hob will automatically switch off after a time determined by the chosen power level.

Residual heat indicator brings additional peace of mind

In addition to the child lock and safety switch-off feature, the induction hob also has a residual heat indicator that further increases user safety. When you see which cooking zones are still hot after they’re switched off, you won’t even accidentally burn your fingers or hands.
