The Point POIH3160I4N induction hob takes needless stress out of cooking. With automatic settings and easy-to-use touch and slide controls, cooking becomes a more pleasurable experience. The controls work with a light touch, so you don’t need to apply pressure on them. Because the induction hob also doesn’t have protruding parts, its surface stays beautifully smooth. Flush mounting is also possible when installing the hob in your kitchen.

Induction technology for efficient and safe heating

The hob based on advanced induction technology is a safe way to prepare food. The induction hob produces heat directly to the bottom of cookware instead of indirectly heating up the glass surface. This way the energy used for heating is used as efficiently as possible.

Booster function for all cooking zones

The 60-cm-wide hob has four round cooking zones. Each cooking zone has nine power levels from which you can choose just the appropriate one according to the food you’re preparing. In addition to these power levels, each cooking zone however also has an especially powerful booster function to choose from. When the function’s maximum time of five minutes has elapsed, the cooking zone returns to the regular maximum power level.

Ready automatic settings for different cooking needs

To make cooking even more effortless, the induction hob has three automatic cooking settings that you can activate depending on your need:

  • 50 °C for melting and defrosting
  • 70 °C for warming
  • 90 °C for simmering

Timer for switching off cooking zones

The induction hob has a convenient timer that can be used in two different ways. You can use it to time when a cooking zone switches off or alternatively use it as an alarm. When using the timer as an alarm, cooking zones won’t switch off when the timer runs out. The maximum time for the timer is 99 minutes.

Pause function for unexpected interruptions

Are you expecting an important phone call? Does someone in the other room need help? Unexpected interruptions may occur when you’re cooking. With that in mind, Point's induction hob has a convenient Stop & Go pause function with which you can safely pause cooking. When you return, you can simply pick up where you left off without worries.

Child lock and automatic safety switch-off

For families with children, the safety of the home is emphasized, and this includes the kitchen. For this reason, the induction hob has the choice of a convenient child lock function. This way the family’s smallest can’t accidentally play with the hob settings. If you also have a lot on your mind, you don’t need to worry if you forget to switch off the hob. That’s because the hob will automatically switch off after a time determined by the chosen power level.

Residual heat indicator brings additional peace of mind

In addition to the child lock and safety switch-off feature, the induction hob also has a residual heat indicator that further increases user safety. When you see which cooking zones are still hot after they’re switched off, you won’t even accidentally burn your fingers or hands. This however isn’t the only user benefit as you can also utilize residual heat to warm food, for example.
