The Point POFH30IN2B induction plate is an excellent aid when installing a regular hob is not possible. It’s suitable for, for example, a small apartment, an office, a cabin or why not a camping trailer during a summer trip. Whether you want to, for example, prepare soup, brown a steak, or why not prepare a wok meal, you don’t need to settle for ready-made or less versatile meals due to lack of space or changing scenery. The induction plate that uses normal mains current also enables cooking during a move or renovation, for example. It has two round cooking zones of equal size, both of which have a diameter of 19 cm. Because it doesn’t have protruding parts, the hot plate’s surface is also easy to keep clean after you’re done cooking.

Induction technology for efficient and safe heating

The hot plate based on advanced induction technology is a safe way to prepare food. The induction plate produces heat directly to the bottom of cookware instead of indirectly heating up the glass surface. This way the energy used for heating is used as efficiently as possible.

Touch controls that are comfortable for your fingers

Both of the induction plate’s cooking zones have eight power levels from which you can choose just the appropriate one according to the food you’re preparing. This is done with simple touch controls that work with a light touch. Thanks to this, you don’t need to apply pressure on the controls. Whether you want to slowly stew or quickly brown, you’ll always find a suitable power level for your needs.

Boost function and timer for both cooking zones

In addition to the other power levels, both cooking zones also have an especially powerful Boost function to choose from. When doing so, the cooking zone reaches its maximum power of 2000 watts. When the Boost function is activated for the other cooking zone, the other is limited to a power of 1500 watts. And when the function’s maximum time of five minutes has elapsed, the cooking zone returns to its original setting. The induction plate also has a convenient timer with which you can time one or both of the cooking zones to switch off after a desired amount of time. The maximum time for the timer is three hours.

Lock function for the controls prevents accidents

Does your family include curious children who might become interested in the induction plate? Not to worry, as in addition to other settings it also has the choice of a convenient lock function for the controls. This way the family’s smallest or anyone else can’t accidentally change the hot plate’s settings.

Residual heat indicator brings peace of mind and energy savings

In addition to the lock function, the induction plate also has a residual heat indicator that further increases user safety. When you see which cooking zones are still hot after they’re switched off, you won’t even accidentally burn your fingers or hands. This however isn’t the only user benefit as you can also utilize residual heat to warm food, for example. This way you save energy when you don’t need to keep the cooking zone on all the time.
